Blizzard Voices of 1888

13th U.S. Poet Laureate and essayist Ted Kooser reads a poem from his collection "Blizzard Voices." His poetry is based on actual reminiscences of people who survived the devastating Blizzard of 1888 . Here are the haunting voices of the men and women whose lives were forever changed when the storm hit.
