Exploring Nebraska

A Day in Fontenelle Forest

Founded in 1913, Fontenelle Forest is not only one of the largest private nature centers in the United States, it's also recognized by the National Park Service as a National Natural Landmark. The 1400 acre conservation area is a premiere birding location featuring more than 1000 species of wildlife and plants as well as miles of trails.
