Exploring Nebraska

Don't Touch That Dial

An excerpt from Nebraska Stories focused on the early days of children's television shows. In those days, children's programs were cheap and easy to produce, and stations usually made money from the hosts selling products during the show. Among the most popular Cartoon Corral (Kartoon Korral), Romper Room, Miss Jean's Storytime, and Kalamity Kate were among the more popular.
